Vehicle Sales Consultant

You’ll be customer-focused, self-motivated, and driven to achieve outstanding results while delivering an exceptional buying experience. Whether you have automotive sales experience or a proven track record in another sales environment, if you’re passionate about people and enjoy working in a fast-paced industry, we’d like to hear from you.
The role
Based in Auckland, you’ll join a supportive team committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience from the moment a customer walks through the door.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming customers and guiding them through the complete vehicle purchasing journey.
- Presenting, demonstrating and arranging test drives for new and used vehicles.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both private and business customers.
- Generating new business through prospecting, lead generation and networking.
- Managing customer enquiries and follow-up activities through the CRM system.
- Preparing sales quotations, negotiating deals and completing sales documentation.
- Achieving and exceeding individual sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Assisting with trade-in appraisals alongside the management team.
- Maintaining vehicle displays and ensuring stock is presented to dealership standards.
What you’ll bring
- A proven track record in sales, with the ability to consistently achieve results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach with strong self-management and organisational skills.
- A current New Zealand driver’s licence.
- The legal right to work in New Zealand.
