What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on a wide range of heavy diesel trucks and trailers
- Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Carrying out mechanical repairs, component replacements, and rebuilds
- Completing safety inspections and ensuring vehicles meet compliance standards
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation
- Working collaboratively with a skilled workshop team to deliver quality outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Trade qualification in Heavy Automotive Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proven experience working on heavy trucks, trailers, or commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
- Full New Zealand driver’s licence (Class 2 or higher )
